Never met her

A day at work…

Today the phone rang continuously. I answered the phone with my usual work spill and began to take down information. As she was speaking I ask, “what is your name again?” She proceeds to tell me her name. At that moment a light turned on above my head.

I said I don’t know if you remember me, but last year I reached out to you via email about observation hours and you referred me to several physical therapists. She goes, yes I remember you, how did it go? I told her that I had ended up shadowing two of the therapist and it was a great experience and thanked her for all of her help. (instead of continuing the conversation like I wanted to I remembered I was at work.) By that time, our front desk was available to take her call and I connected her over.

Some of you are probably thinking ok so why is this so important? I have never met this young lady before and one random day she called my job. The process of trying to get into Physical therapy school is STRESSFUL, so one inch of hope means everything. When I talk to her she reminds me of why this will all be worth it. She felt my passion and for that, I am forever appreciative. I consider her a blessing in my life. Although things may be tough now greater is coming. Thank you for aspiring me to prosper.
