A Strangers Thought

I’m pretty set in my ways, far as my daily routine. I have my go-to spots in the library where I can study and charge my computer. This particular day, I was sitting at my usual place studying, books out, paper covering the entire table, and highlighters everywhere. I was so deep into my studies, but something told me to look up. When I did there was a woman walking by and she happened to walk past me, but she turned around when she noticed my head come up for a second and she said, “I’m proud of you.” All I could do was thank her. I was so appreciative that a complete stranger noticed the hard work that I was putting into my studies. She could’ve continued her day without saying anything. But it meant the world to me that she stopped to acknowledge me. The little things make the most significant difference. Moments like this continue to push me.
