Silent Moves

In December 2019 I graduated with my Masters in Applied Exercise Science with a concentration in Human Movement. I only told my close friends and family members at the time. I choose not to walk across the stage, take pictures, or celebrate. I knew that obtaining my Masters's degree was not the end goal therefore I didn't celebrate. Sometimes I feel that people jump into celebrations over the littlest things that don’t require celebration. Mind you, a Master’s degree is a big deal for most just not for me. I think if I knew I would be done completely with school I would’ve celebrated but to celebrate before making it to the finish line isn’t ideal. Sometimes moving in silence is best. Not every move you make deserves a Facebook post.
